I’m a director and co-owner of Samsby, business software for trades and small service businesses. Calls, texts, emails, website forms, quotes and invoices sit in one place, with Sam, the AI receptionist, answering the phone and drafting the follow-ups. Nothing sends until the owner checks it and taps Send.
Samsby was built inside Yong’s Carpentry in Perth, where it runs the business every day. We’re now opening it to other small businesses through early access, starting with Perth trades.
I also own 10XR, the Perth digital marketing agency I’ve run for over a decade. Good campaigns fill a pipeline — but the pattern that kept surfacing was how much of that demand leaked away afterwards: slow responses, missed calls, quotes nobody chased. 10XR fills the pipeline. Samsby makes sure the work that comes in doesn’t leak away.
I work best at the intersection of product, distribution, and execution — moving quickly, shipping the thing, refining as we go. Calm, commercial, allergic to theatre.
